Sustainable, high-tech stand for Trouw Nutrition

In September 2023, we travelled to the international animal feed exhibition Space 2023 for Trouw Nutrition. In Rennes, France, the Nutreco subsidiary showed that they stand for the best nutritional solutions for all types of livestock. By deploying components such as sustainability, feeding the future, feed to food quality, health and food safety, they want to achieve a higher standard of food safety and animal health together with their suppliers and customers. Based on our joint ambition for sustainability, we built a stand for Trouw Nutrition.

Stand with a warm, green look

The design of the stand for Trouw Nutrition at the SPACE fair was fully aligned with their green mission. In consultation with the client, we designed a 30 m2 stand where Trouw Nutrition’s core values were at the centre. To emphasise this, we used real plants to give the stand a natural and green look.
We also laid an Octa Ecofloor. A raised floor composed of individual tiles that fit together, made of recycled material. As an eye-catcher, we used a modular Aluvision frame system, which seamlessly connects to the Aluvision LED tiles. The widescreen LED wall showed life-size atmospheric images of cattle and beautiful nature. Razor-sharp, as if you were standing in the meadow yourself.
To further emphasise the natural facet, all the greenery in the stand was combined with pillars with a printed wood look. The simple but matching stools and tables allow visitors to catch a moment of peace in the stand. While enjoying an honest cup of coffee, they can listen and experience what Trouw Nutrition has to offer in the field of sustainable nutritional solutions.

Re-usable materials

We are committed to sustainability and believe it is important to look beyond the stand. What happens to the materials at the end of the event? Throwing them away is wasteful and bad for the environment. For this reason, the materials and stand furnishings were reused or stored. The printed materials, including the Trouw Nutrition logos, were stored so that they could be used again at the next event. The real plants were given a nice place in the Trouw Nutrition office. The vinyl floor has a special purpose. It was donated to the Meierijstad Foundation. This foundation will transport the vinyl floor to areas in Eastern Europe where it can be put to good use.
