Two sustainable stands at Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) 2025

The Plastics Recycling Show Europe took place on April 1 and 2, 2025, at RAI Amsterdam. This trade show and conference focuses on all aspects of plastic recycling, bringing together major industry players to showcase innovative technologies, share best practices, and provide networking opportunities. Exhibition stands are built for this purpose, allowing each company to demonstrate their specific expertise in plastic recycling. Bridge EF had the privilege of creating sustainable stands for Alcamare and Braskem, commissioned by Eventtoppers.

Stand for Alcamare

Alcamare is an international recycling group headquartered in Mexico. The recycling company specializes in collecting and processing post-consumer plastics such as PET, HDPE and PP. They produce high-purity resins suitable for food packaging applications, among others. Waste paper is recycled into pulp, which serves as raw material for products including toilet paper and printer paper. Used PET bottles are recycled and carefully sorted into products for sectors including the food industry.

Sustainable stand construction with LCD screen and LED lighting

All stand walls consist of aluminum frames from the Aluvision brand. The stand frames are constructed from 80 percent recycled aluminum. The frames are fitted with printed tension fabrics. Stand lighting is achieved with LED lighting. The display spots can be switched between 3 different color temperature settings: warm white, neutral white and daylight. The spot cabling is maximally concealed within the stand walls. Reusable furniture determines the stand layout, while the eye-catcher is formed by an LCD screen with media player. The advantage of combining a media player with LCD screen ensures continuous looping video without transitions, and the system automatically restarts after a power outage.

Stand for Braskem

Braskem is the largest producer of thermoplastics in the Americas and the largest producer of polypropylene in the United States. With offices in North America and South America, Asia and Europe, Braskem is represented in over 70 countries worldwide. The company produces a wide range of products used for applications including packaging, construction and the automotive industry. Additionally, they contribute to more sustainable plastic solutions with ‘green’ polyethylene from sugarcane ethanol.

98% reusable stand construction material

Raised floors, Aluvision stand construction frames, lighting, furniture and LCD screens can all be redeployed for future stands. This ensures that Bridge EF contributes to making the industry more sustainable and is consciously engaged with sustainability and circularity within the sector. The vinyl floor covering gets a second life in Eastern Europe through a partnership with the foundation ‘Meierijstad helpt Oost Europa’. The printed tension fabrics are recycled and their raw materials can be reused for various applications.
