Sonic Equipment challenged us to design and realise a 160 m2 stand at Automechanica 2024. Location: Hall 8 of Frankfurter Messe. Bart Verbruggen created the design for this stand. The exhibition stand features three meeting rooms with LCD Screens, moss walls and black Aluvision Window frames making the moss walls visible from afar. We presented this stand in advance in virtual reality.
For a chic look, the raised Octanorm Classic floor was finished in high gloss white. The raised floor also provided additional ballast for the LED walls . The Aluvision Window frames and doors of the meeting rooms are no less than 5 m high. Additional stability was also applied for these by means of mdf floorboards.
The complete power distribution of the stand was divided via 2 groups of 32 A distribution box, which were equipped with mechanical earth leakage switches per group. Mechanical earth leakage circuit breakers are required in Germany; by providing each group with its own earth leakage circuit breaker, we ensure optimum safety and extra operational security. As an extra service, the sockets in the meeting rooms and pantry are equipped with USB A and USB C connections so that smartphones can also be easily charged.
